Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of REHOWS.com. By using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Informational service only

REHOWS provides general cost-estimation and planning information. It is not a valuation, survey, inspection, quotation, financial product, legal service or professional advice. Results do not replace advice from a qualified contractor, surveyor, valuer, financial adviser, lawyer or other professional.

2. Estimates and user responsibility

Estimates depend on regional data, assumptions and information you enter. Data may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated or unsuitable for a particular property. You are responsible for checking all inputs, calculations, taxes, scope, permits, safety requirements and results before relying on them. Obtain independent quotations and professional advice before making any financial, property or safety decision.

3. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, bypass security, introduce malicious code, scrape it at unreasonable scale, infringe rights, submit unlawful or misleading information, or use it to harm another person. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect REHOWS, users or third parties.

4. Contributions

You remain responsible for information you submit and confirm that you have the right to provide it. You grant REHOWS a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, analyse, translate, aggregate, adapt and use submitted cost information to operate and improve the service. We may review, reject, correct, anonymise or remove submissions and are not obliged to publish them.

5. Intellectual property and availability

REHOWS and its site content, design and software are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except where law permits otherwise, you may use them only for personal or internal planning purposes. We may change, suspend or discontinue features and do not promise uninterrupted, error-free or permanently available service.

6. Third-party services

The service may rely on or link to third-party services. Their availability, security and content are controlled by those parties and may be subject to separate terms.

7. Warranties and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, REHOWS is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties as to accuracy, completeness, fitness for purpose or results. You use the service and reports at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, REHOWS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost opportunity, loss of data, financing costs, property defects, project overruns or decisions made in reliance on the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intent or other liability that mandatory law requires.

8. Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Mandatory consumer protections and any court jurisdiction that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected. We may update these Terms prospectively; continued use after publication means the updated Terms apply.
