Disclaimer
United States notice: The methodology, source limitations and local-verification requirements for US estimates are explained below.
Important: REHOWS and its reports provide general information only. They are not professional advice, a quotation, valuation, inspection, survey, guarantee or promise of actual costs.
Estimates may differ
Estimates are based on available regional data, assumptions and user input. They may be incomplete, inaccurate or outdated. Actual costs can vary materially because of property condition, specification, labour and material availability, taxes, permits, access, inflation, market conditions and matters not visible to REHOWS. Editing a value does not validate it.
United States methodology and sources
US national ranges are indicative 2026 planning estimates developed by adapting the REHOWS international cost framework to US terminology, US customary units and USD. US-specific transaction, financing, title, inspection, permit and professional-service topics were separately localised where applicable.
State ranges are directionally adjusted using 2024 all-items Regional Price Parities from the US Bureau of Economic Analysis. Regional Price Parities compare general price levels; they are not a construction-cost index. State averages can conceal substantial differences between metropolitan, suburban and rural markets.
Additional public context includes the US Census Bureau, IRS homeowner guidance, US Department of Energy and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. These agencies do not supply, verify, approve or endorse the REHOWS price ranges.
Always verify current contractor prices and applicable state, county, city, HOA, lender, insurer, tax, code, licensing, permit and incentive requirements. Methodology last reviewed: July 2026.
Verify before deciding
You remain responsible for your project and decisions. Independently verify all inputs, measurements, calculations, taxes, scope, property condition, defects, permits, codes, insurance, financing, safety requirements and results. Consult appropriately qualified local professionals and obtain property-specific inspections and independent written quotations before making or committing to financial, contractual, property or safety decisions. Do not use REHOWS as the sole basis for buying, selling, financing or renovating property, and do not delay urgent inspection, repair or safety action because of information shown by REHOWS.

Use of the service and reliance on a report are at your own risk and do not create a professional, advisory, fiduciary, contractor-client or similar relationship. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, REHOWS accepts no liability for loss arising from use of or reliance on the service or a report.
